As Coronavirus cases continue to increase, our paramount concern is the wellbeing of the customers and employees that make up the Lang’s Bowlarama family. We want to ensure not only the health of all of us who work and play here at Lang’s, but also that we are a responsible company in our tight knit Rhode Island community. While advice seems to vary from state to state and city to city, what is clear is that the less people have contact with one another, the more we can slow down the rate of the spread of the virus, thereby ensuring that our healthcare system can continue to adequately provide services for all.
Obviously this is a very busy part of the year for us and we know that all of you value your time here at Lang’s as well, but we have decided that the only responsible thing to do is close the center for a period of time. Effective this Sunday, March 15 at 9 PM, we will close Lang’s Bowlarama. During this time we will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and make a decision about when the appropriate time will be to reopen based on the recommendations of the health and government authorities.
We will stay in touch via email and post developments on our website and social media sites.
Please remember that the only way that those in our community who are most vulnerable can remain safe and healthy is for ALL of us to do our part. Those of us who might only experience mild or no symptoms from the virus should still comply diligently with recommendations for hygiene and social distancing, such as those recommended by the CDC .
Thank you all for your understating. We look forwarding to coming back together at Lang’s soon!
